Essential Tools Image Editing Software

Image Editing software is essential if you want to get the best results from your cameraphone shots, and the king of editing software is Photoshop. Photoshop is the industry standard editing software and comes at a hefty price, but if you cannot afford the £500 + price tag there's no need to worry, there are cut down versions of photoshop available at a cheaper price. The cheaper versions of photoshop are called Photoshop elements and all versions will enable you to get the absoulute very best from your photographs. I used Elements 2 for a long while and its features are plentiful and good enough to get you started in editing. Later versions are available now at a price of around £40 - £60 and you can always pick up older versions like 2 or 3 second hand, its worth looking on ebay or even asking friends or fellow enthusiasts, as copies of elements are included in some digital camera packages and the owners may have upgraded or no longer use them. Once you have got your copy of Photoshop elements you can really start to improve your photographs. A simple levels adjustment, some sharpening, a color boost and crop can turn your plain picture into a masterpiece. You can learn how to edit your pictures from books, magazines and the many websites available. Your Sony Ericsson is an expensive tool and its worth spending a bit extra on editing software to get those professional results.
